In the Beginning.....

        In the fall of 1973 Tom Green, a resident of Grand Terrace, started asking friends and neighbors about starting a service club in town, Tom, a member of Moreno Valley Lions Club, with dedication and a lot of hard work got the support and commitment from the community.

     January 26, 1974 the Grand Terrace Lions Club chartered with 43 new members.

     Two (2) original members still serve today. After a long period away from the club, a third original member has come back to active status and is serving again.
