The Grand Terrace Lions Club has been fulfilling the mission of “We Serve” in numerous ways for over 40 years. One of the ways we serve the local and global community is through our donations to worthy causes down the street and around the globe. Our major fundraisers held throughout the year include Pancake Breakfasts, the Pot of Gold event, our annual Golf Tournament, and 5K/10k Freedom Run/Walk. The funds from these events and donations from generous individuals are then donated to back to the community.
Beneficiaries of our fundraising efforts include: youth sports leagues and activity groups, The Grand Terrace High, the Terrace Hills Middle, Terrace View Elementary and Grand Terrace Elementary Schools in our community. Donations are also made to numerous non-profit groups and other local charitable organizations. In addition to that, through Lions International, our donations help individuals with eyesight related needs and those in need of help during times of major disasters across the world. Here is a partial list of charities and non-profits the Lions Serve.
